4.5 stars.I seem to have liked this one more than most other reviewers.Both the heroine and hero have some real life flaws in this older HP by Roberta Leigh.For the heroine it's a marriage of convenience to supply funds for her younger brother to study music. For the hero, it was love at first sight and he marries her knowing she does not love him.This book reminded me of the movie version of North and SouthNorth and Southby Elizabeth Gaskell - the setting, the factory, the rigid controlling family member (mother in N&S, older sister in this one.)Somehow it worked for me.
